We recommend flying into Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) — it’s the closest option, approximately 45–50 minutes from Joshua Tree (about 40 miles). This is the host airport.
You may also fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is approximately 2.5 hours away (about 130 miles), depending on traffic.
Transportation to and from the host airport will be provided based on your arrival choice.
-
At this time, we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or extended stays. All guests must arrive and depart within the designated retreat dates to ensure the experience, lodging, and transportation run smoothly for everyone.
If you’d like additional time in Joshua Tree, you’re welcome to arrange your own lodging before or after the retreat.
-
Bring comfortable, lounge clothing, walking shoes, and any personal items you need for rest and relaxation. Because Joshua Tree’s weather can shift, we recommend layering—light daytime wear with a warm jacket or hoodie for cool evenings.
You may also want to bring a journal, your favorite book, and anything that helps you slow down: headphones, a camera, or simple essentials for self-care.
Everything else—meals, accommodations, transportation, and the retreat environment—is provided for you. Just come as you are, ready to breathe and be.
-
Yes. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know during registration. Our chef will make the necessary accommodations to ensure your meals are safe and enjoyable.
While we can honor most allergies and restrictions, we may not be able to fulfill highly specialized or rare dietary needs—so the more detail you provide upfront, the better we can prepare for you.
-
Your cost is fully refundable up to 14 days before the retreat. If something comes up after that window, your spot becomes non-refundable but fully transferable — meaning you can gift or transfer your retreat experience to someone else.
We understand life happens, and we want to remain as flexible as possible while keeping the retreat experience seamless for all guests.
-
Plan to arrive by early afternoon on Day 1 and depart late morning on the final day. This ensures we can coordinate transportation from the host airport and help you settle in without rushing.
-
SABBATH Retreats are intentionally intimate. You can expect a small group, typically 8–12 guests, to preserve the quiet, personal, and spacious atmosphere we’re known for.
-

You’ll stay in elevated, luxury accommodations selected for comfort, serenity, and aesthetic. Rooms may be private or shared depending on the property layout, but the environment is intentionally designed for stillness, clarity, and restoration.
-
The Table is the heart of SABBATH Retreats — an evening gathering where we share a chef-curated meal, honest conversation, and meaningful connection. It’s not a class or a session; it’s a moment to sit, breathe, and be human with others. No performance. No pressure. Just presence.
-
Not at all. All activities are optional and vary based on weather and location. Whether you want stillness, movement, conversation, or solitude — you choose how you spend your day.
-
Expect cooler days around 61*F and much cooler desert nights around 39*F.
Temperatures can vary widely, so we recommend layering — light clothing for daytime and a warm jacket or hoodie for evenings outdoors.
-
Cell service can be limited in Joshua Tree, depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is usually available at the property but may not be as fast or consistent as urban settings.
Consider this part of the experience — a chance to disconnect from noise and reconnect with yourself.
-
Travel insurance isn’t required, but we do encourage it for your peace of mind — especially if you’re traveling long distances or have a tight schedule.
-
We do not provide alcohol, but you are free to partake as you’d like. We ask for you to drink responsibly. Smoking policies depend on the property and local fire regulations, which are often strict due to the desert climate. We’ll provide exact guidelines before your arrival.
